Playway Activities
At The Dev Public School, we believe that young children learn best through play. Our Playway Method is designed to make learning joyful, engaging, and meaningful by combining fun-filled activities with structured learning experiences. These activities help children develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills in a natural and stress-free environment.
Through carefully planned playway activities, children are encouraged to explore, express themselves, and build confidence while learning essential life skills.
Our Playway programme includes the following activities:
1. Water & Sand Play
These activities help develop sensory awareness, fine motor skills, and creativity. Children enjoy exploring textures while improving hand-eye coordination in a safe and supervised environment.
2. Dance & Dramatics
Dance and dramatics encourage self-expression, rhythm, body movement, and confidence. Children learn to express emotions, improve communication skills, and enjoy performing in a fun and supportive setting.
3. Art Work
Art activities such as drawing, coloring, painting, and craft work nurture creativity and imagination. They also help in developing motor skills, concentration, and a sense of achievement among young learners.
4. Festivals & Celebrations
Celebrating festivals helps children understand cultural diversity, traditions, and values. These celebrations promote social bonding and create joyful learning experiences filled with colors, music, and stories.
5. Birthday Celebrations
Birthday celebrations at school help children feel special and valued. Such activities encourage sharing, cooperation, and emotional development while creating happy memories.
6. Picnics
Educational picnics and outdoor visits offer children exposure beyond the classroom. These outings help enhance observation skills, curiosity, and social interaction while making learning enjoyable and experiential.
Through these playway activities, the school ensures a balanced foundation for early childhood development, making learning a delightful journey filled with curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
